Desi-Sheet™ is a line of flat desiccants that effectively adsorb moisture inside medical device, diagnostic or pharmaceutical packaging.

Ideal for use when packaging diagnostic kits or medical devices in aluminum pouches, Desi-Sheet’s flatness avoids the bulges in flexible packaging caused by conventional desiccant packets and allows for the optimization of packaging space.  Desi-Sheet maintains its flatness allowing packagers to incorporate a desiccant where space is a premium.
 
Unlike other flat desiccants on the market, Desi-Sheet does not contain calcium chloride, which creates a chemical reaction in order to absorb moisture in product packaging.  Reactions are usually not desired within pharmaceutical or medical device packaging.  The adsorption properties of Desi-Sheet are provided by either silica gel or bentonite clay which bind water without creating a chemical reaction.

Desi-Sheet is available with FDA compliance for direct contact with food and drugs.
