Desiccant tablets are compact, concentrated desiccants that can be formed into various shapes and sizes.  They are designed for use in applications where space is limited but complete moisture protection is essential. 

Tablets are widely used inside pregnancy and other diagnostic test kits to protect their sensitive reagents.  Depending on the adsorption characteristics desired, various types of active materials can be used including silica gel, molecular sieve and activated carbon.

The hard uniform shape makes them ideal for automated insertion.
